But there are foods that can help our body replenish the collagen that is lost. Some of the most common ones are listed below:

1. Tomatoes

Collagen is broken down by an enzyme called Collagenases. The antioxidant Lycopene can inhibit these enzymes. Also, antioxidants can subdue the free radicals that destroy the collagen and the skin’s supporting structure.
